After the party we visited with puppy Gus, and then I met Ike for dinner and finished the day planting Mom & Dad's flowers.

She always planted purple, red, and white petunias in the garden in front of their house in honor of the flag and Dad's service.

What a fantastic whirlwind of a weekend!
