Another Sunday and another canicross - Run for the Dogs 5k to support Mary's Dogs! This morning's race was much closer to home, though, in Deerfield, New Hampshire. Ed & George had an awesome run and won Top Dog, and 2nd place overall! They took off in a pack of young cross-country runners who marveled at the fact that George was pulling Ed.

 Unless I'm mistaken, their family pets are in for a rude awakening! 🤣 I struggled a bit, but Buffy helped me hang in there until Ed & George came back out and finished the course with us!

Afterwards the dogs enjoyed a sweet treat, and I won a raffle item. It was nice to hang out and visit with friends we haven't seen for a while. Then, we headed into town and had lunch at the newly reopened Lazy Lion, one of our favorite spots. It did not disappoint. Yum!
