The best thing about this training plan is that if life happens to interfere with a planned workout, you just swap it! I've been mixing things up this week. Today was a much better option for our 5 mile run since 2 miles was all I could do on Tuesday. My legs were still too tired from Sunday's exertion. They felt good this morning though, and the trails were much quieter on a rainy day anyway, which we appreciated. I did plenty of walking, in the hopes of not overdoing it. I'm wicked tired tonight, so I'm not sure it worked. Recovery is so important, but harder than it used to be!
