It's finally porch-sitting season, again!

We've been waiting all winter for this! I did have to put on Dad's flannel shirt, though. It's not quite warm enough for short sleeves. That's okay; wearing his old shirts makes me smile. He was from the generation of men who always wore button-down shirts, tucked in, and pants belted. Whether he was staying home, or not. After Mom passed, he didn't have her help anymore to button his cuffs, so he took all of his shirts to a seamstress. She added velcro strips to the inside of cuffs, but left the buttons on so that nobody could tell. A simple fix that meant he could maintain his style!
